Weddings, anniversary parties, family reunions and group or club activities are all welcome at this beautiful, natural venue. Gatherings can be held on the lawn with a canopied stage, or in the log day lodge.

There is a maintained trail from Mistahiya that follows the river to a Bird Watching tower ( Wainwright Wildlife Society). Visitors are welcome to walk, bike, or cross country ski this trail which loops around an additional 5 kilometers of river hills. For a more strenuous workout, you can hike or bike the ski runs, plus enjoy an incredible view of the valley.

Sightings of deer, moose and coyotes are common.
